The League does not give permission to anyone to reproduce its League Tables with the exception of the Sheffield Star and Green 'Un and has never allowed its fixtures to be available to any other bodies except that of the clubs involved in the League and its players.

Therefore, the instruction from the League Management Committee is that unless all copyright material, namely fixtures, League tables and any material from the League handbook, is removed from web sites within seven days of the date of this letter, the League will have no alternative but to implement League Rule 5(b) and withdraw fixtures from any club not complying with this instruction.

Club's (sic) will remain without fixtures until such time as they have complied with the instructions of the Management Committee. Please be advised to read and study League Rule 8(l)

The Webmaster controlling this site has therefore no alternative but to censor this site with immediate effect in order for the club not to incur a financial penalty and/or loss of club fixtures.

It seems that I, like all of you, will have to depend on inaccurate, incomplete and generally out-of-date results and league tables to be published in the Green 'Un two or three times a season.
It is also worth noting that no club will be able to print fact sheets as to their team's standing at any time due to the same copyright rule.

I would like to thank all the team managers who have supplied results and fixture amendments to me over the past three years, in order to produce (we believe) the fastest and most accurate local football site on the 'net.

My good wishes also go to Sugg Sports, especially Terry Crookes, for their efforts in trying to bring the League into the computer age.
